This time it's personal.

Because… I was diagnosed with chronic asthma as a child, and continue to manage it along with a host of additional environmental allergies.

Because… I’m newly diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and know it’s imperative I watch not only what I consume, but also what goes on my body.

Because... I’ve had so many friends experience miscarriage and have difficulty getting pregnant. 

Because… I want to have children of my own one day without complications caused by so many environmental factors.

Because… babies are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals every day that can contribute to all of these conditions. 

Because… I’ve lost friends and family to environmental cancers.

Because… congress hasn’t passed a major law regulating the skin care and cosmetics industry since 1938.

Because… prevention is the key to living and leading a better, healthier, and safer life. 

Because… there are chemicals all around us and we just don’t know their impact.

Because… now I know.
