Isn’t it crazy that we’re already looking ahead to the holiday season? How is it already almost November. I feel like I blinked and my newborn is nearly 8 months old. I’m so looking forward to sharing all her firsts and beginning new traditions with her. I can’t wait to see her eyes light up in wonder when she sees her first big tree strung with Christmas lights. I’d be lying though if I didn’t say my heart is simultaneously overjoyed with all the memories we’ll create with her, and breaking at the idea of her growing older. I know the next time I blink she’ll be 10 and asking for lipgloss and makeup from Santa. With all there is to protect her from in this world, I’m glad to know I have a safer alternative for when she wants to play in my makeup.
